1. General Information

This privacy policy informs about the processing of your personal data on the following websites www.franchiseexpofrankfurt.de and www.fex.online. If you chose to use these services then you agree with the collection and use of information in relation with this policy.

2. Scope and purpose of processing personal data

2.1 Launching the website

When calling up the websites www.franchiseexpofrankfurt.de and www.fex.online the Internet browser used by the visitor automatically sends data to the server of these websites and stores them temporarily in a log file. Until routine deletion, the following data is stored without further input from the visitor:

  • IP address of the visitor's terminal device
  • Date and time of access by the visitor,
  • Name and URL of the page called by the visitor,
  • Website from which the visitor accesses the Franchise Expo websites (so-called referrer URL),
  • Browser and operating system of the visitor's end device and the name of the access provider used by the visitor.
     

The processing of this personal data is justified in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f) DSGVO. The expo organizer has a justified interest in the processing of data for the purpose of

  • quickly establish a connection to the event's website,
  • to enable a user-friendly application of the website,
  • to recognize and guarantee the security and stability of the systems and
  • to facilitate and improve the administration of the website.


The processing is expressly not carried out for the purpose of gaining personally-identifying information on the website visitor.

2.2 Registration as an exhibitor or visitor

We collect the following data: Personal information and contact details:

  • Name data (first name, surname, title)
  • Personal details (gender)
  • Contact information (street, postal code, city, state, e-mail address, phone number)
  • Customer profile (industry, function in the company, registrations, participation in events)

Within the scope of our business relationship, we collect and store data that you yourself have provided, including the fact that you have registered for an event and participated in it. In addition, we sometimes supplement the telephone number from public sources.

Visitors can register as an exhibitor or expo visitor using a contact form on the website. By sending the message via the contact form, the visitor consents to the processing of the personal data provided. The data will be processed solely for the purpose of visitor and exhibitor registration for the event. This is done based on the voluntarily given consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter a) DSGVO. The personal data of the exhibitors collected for the use of the contact form will generally be stored for as long as statutory storage obligations exist or the storage is necessary for the fulfilment of our statutory duties. The data of expo visitors will be deleted 1 year after the expo at the end of the year.

2.3 Newsletter

Exhibitors and registered expo visitors will receive information relevant to the expo by newsletter prior to the event, provided that the visitor has registered for this. The visitor can unsubscribe from receiving future newsletters at any time. This can be done by using a special link at the end of the newsletter or by sending an appropriate message to franchise@cox-orange.at.

3. Transfer of data

Personal data is transferred to third parties if

  • the person concerned has expressly consented to it in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter a) DSGVO
  • the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f) DPA is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that the data subject has an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing his or her data,
  • the data transmission according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter c) DSGVO is a legal obligation, and/or
  • this is necessary for the performance of a contractual relationship with the data subject pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter b) DSGVO.

In other cases, personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

4. Cookies

Our websites www.franchiseexpofrankfurt.de, www.fex.online and www.fex.expo-ip.com use so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

You have lodged an objection in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 DSGVO. The restriction of the processing can be demanded if it is not yet clear whether our legitimate reasons outweigh your reasons.

Restriction of processing means that the personal data will only be processed with your consent or for the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims or protecting the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest. Before we lift the restriction, we have the duty to inform you of this.

5.3 Data transferability

You have the right to data transferability, provided that the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter a) or Art. 9 para. 2 letter a) DPA) or on a contract to which you are a party and the processing is carried out with the aid of automated procedures. In this case, the right to data transfer includes the following rights, provided that this does not affect the rights and freedoms of other persons: You can demand that we receive the personal data you have provided us within a structured, common and machine-readable format. You have the right to transfer this data to another responsible person without hindrance on our part. As far as technically feasible, you can demand that we transfer your personal data directly to another responsible party.

5.4 Opposition

If the processing is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter e) DSGVO (performance of a task in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority) or on Article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter f) DSGVO (legitimate interest of the controller or a third party), you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data relating to you for reasons arising from your particular situation. This also applies to profiling based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter e) or letter f) DSGVO. After exercising the right to object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling reasons for processing that are worthy of protection and outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

You may at any time object to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing. This also applies to profiling in connection with such direct marketing. After exercising this right to object, we will no longer use the personal data concerned for direct marketing purposes.

You have the opportunity to inform us of your objection informally by telephone or by e-mail.

5.5 Revocation of consent

The revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing which has been carried out based on the consent until the receipt of the revocation. 7. Analytic services for websites, tracking

7.1 Google Analytics

The Websites www.franchiseexpofrankfurt.de and www.fex.online use functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics as well as Google Maps API, both services of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).

The service uses "cookies" - text files which are stored on your end device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing.

Our concern in the sense of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized

The user data is stored for a period of 26 months.

7.2 Facebook-Pixel

The websites www.franchiseexpofrankfurt.de and www.fex.online use Facebook pixel of Facebook, a social media network of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland.

The code implemented on the page can evaluate the behavior of visitors who have come to the website via a Facebook advertisement. This can be used to enhance Facebook advertisements and this data is collected and stored by Facebook. The collected data is not visible to us but can only be used in the context of ad placements. 7.3 LinkedIn Insight-Tag

The websites www.franchiseexpofrankfurt.de and www.fex.online use the LinkedIn Insight tag from LinkedIn, a social media network of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

The code implemented on the websites www.franchiseexpofrankfurt.de and www.fex.online site can evaluate the behavior of visitors who came to the site via a LinkedIn advertisement. This can be used to improve LinkedIn advertisements and this information is collected and stored by LinkedIn. The information collected is not visible to us but can only be used in the context of advertising campaigns. The use of the LinkedIn Insight tag code also sets cookies. The data is encrypted, anonymized within seven days and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days.

A justified interest of the organizer and purpose of the use of Plugins of social networks is to make our offer available to a broad public. The social networks are responsible for the data protection compliant handling of their users' data.

9. Status and update of this privacy policy

This privacy policy is valid as of November 18, 2020. We reserve the right to update the privacy policy in due course in order to improve data protection and/or to adapt it to changes in official practice or jurisdiction.
